So we’ve been keeping busy as always and I realized that it’s been a little while since I did a Keepin’ it real – What’s been up at our homestead post! So here in short I’ll give an update. I guess you could say I’m not doing a good job of keeping my theme “keepin’ it real” because we all know there is much more going on then one little post could ever share! haha…

We make many trips to the garden centers, hardware and feed stores. When you’ve got projects going on indoors and outdoors that’s bound to happen right? Here is Ladybug and Daddy checking out some new mowers. We haven’t bought one yet, just looking for next year. We came to pick up some supplies but you know we can’t get outta there with out taking a peek at all the other cool stuff!

Such a toddler diva! Notice all her “pink”, sparkle shoes and that face! (Here she is telling us how this mower is the one she wants) haha…

Some meals we’ve had this past weekend! Home cooking is always the BEST!

Asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes and pork chops with a mango salsa!

Homemade pizza anyone? Love making our own pizza dough! This is our version of white ricotta sauce! (maybe I’ll share the recipe in a future post! ) Note: I love my Pizza Stone from Pampered Chef, it was a gift from my Mom over 6 years ago and I use it all the time!

So at our homestead I don’t know if there is a weekend or week that goes by with out some sort of scratch, scrape or cut!

This time Pooh Bear scraped his knee.

So with a little tea tree/witch hazel and a band-aid we’re as good as new!
