Let’s be honest every recipe we make or DIY project we try doesn’t always pan out – right?
Well, that was the case with these few experimental DIY natural recipes.
DIY laundry softener- simple recipe, but not happy with the end product- You can use just straight vinegar but we decided to try some suggestions and add a cheap bottle of conditioner that was suppose to help add some fragrance. We however ended up putting two bottles of conditioner and after the clothes were washed and dried you can’t smell anything. The clothes are soft but still isn’t what we want – We would like a scent sooo….we are going to give a couple more things a try until we find the prefect diy softener.
DIY natural toothpaste- SUPER FAIL – I tried to make up a natural toothpaste and it turned out to be a complete flop, lol! runny and too oily! So we ended up buying a natural one at the health food store. I’m going to keep trying though! When I finally get it I will be sure to share! 
DIY Shaving cream- FAIL again! It looked nice but it didn’t lather well and hurt to shave so out with that until I create a mixture that will work well.
You know I’m just keepin’ it real! Letting you know that not EVERY recipe and creation comes out right…the first time at least!
Somethings that did turn out- Yummy in fact!
When it comes to food I promise I don’t fail as often. haha… Maybe I’ll share these recipes in a future post?
Our four legged family members have been running around outside with the kids all day and it’s HOT so now they are napping.
