We live on a 5 acre homestead with a pond out in the country not to far from civilization!   We are always painting something, remodeling, landscaping, making our house a home. The husbands in their spare time are currently working on our chicken coop. We have been reading and studying the differences between different milk cows or goats. We are thinking about raising rabbits for meat and we have some big ideas about gardening and raising fish! We’re also currently pondering if we want to go solar power or wind? So much to learn, so much to decide. This is our journey, learning as we go! We have hopes of one day being close to fully self sufficient! And that friends is our story so far…
