Watermelon Ginger Juice Recipe

Watermelon Ginger Juice Recipe

When you need to use up all those watermelons that are growing like crazy in your garden – try this recipe.

It’s a breeze to make fresh on those HOT summer days!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Small piece of fresh ginger (about 2 tbs.)
  • 4 cups of chopped up watermelon

Directions:

Remove the skin and seeds from the watermelon and chop to fit in your juicer.
Put the watermelon in the fridge before hand so it will be cold.
When ready for a cool drink toss it all in your juicer ( I used this method), a blender or food processor and you’ll have yourself a nice cool summer drink!

Watermelon Ginger Juice

That’s it! Just two simple ingredients!

*This makes about 2 1/2 cups of juice.

It’s sweet & delicious! The kids also love this juice, it’s a healthy alternative to the fruit juices at your local grocery store that are full of sugar or high fructose corn syrup.

This is also a great recipe for those who are on a juice fast/ juice detox.

Watermelon is one of my favorites. I never thought to make juice from it...I have a blender and will try it out in that.
